Handclutch, Ignition, New Headlight, Levers, Side Stand... (May - July 2002)

With the new engine fitted, the bike ran quite well. The automatic clutch was not very pleasing, anyway.
Shifting up was no problem, but shifting down was an adventure...

So I decided to install a "normal" hand-operated clutch.

The matte-black Headlight was replaced by the same model in chrome.

The footpeg and side-stand assembly comes from a model 2001 Gorilla. I replaced the rubbers on the footpegs with 22mm Daytona
alloy-footpegs.The original side stand turned out to be too short for the 4.00-8 tires. So I bought an adjustable side stand from KITACO,
a very well made and nice-looking part.

The kickstart-lever comes from a chinese CF50 CHALY-Replica. By this special form it avoids collisions with the exhaust and is much healthier for my right foot ...

The big black knurled handlebar-screws where repalced by the "Berlin-Special-Screws", thanks to Stefan.

Now the little brute is running awfully nice (in spite of my weight...)
Christmas will bring a Disc-Brake for the front wheel, I´m sure....
